Coney

We are a four piece rock band based in the Bellshill area of North Lanarkshire.

We have many influences with the most obvious being bands such as Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Misfits, Kyuss and Feeder.

The band was formed because we felt as a band isolated from the town we come from. We found there is really nothing to do. This lack of activity forced us to try and create something for ourselves.

The band was named after the a gang movie favourited by most of the band members called "The Warriors". The main gang in the movie "The Warriors" are from a place called "Coney Island". The movie reflected on our on lives to some degree which convinced us to name our band after something from the movie.
