We are “CRIMSON CIRCLE” a four piece, pop-punk/rock with a dark twist, band from Warsop and have been writing and playing for over 2 years now. The band was started by singer/songwriter Martyn Brown (18) in early 2006 and consists of Dean Hill (19) on drums, Steven Hill (18) on bass and lead guitarist Tom Sweeting (18). Earlier last year we played live on the popular KLFM radio station in Kings Lynn and made it to the final stage of the "Festival Too" competition, narrowly missing out on playing alongside 10cc and The Buzzcocks.We also received a great a reception after playing the Astoria 2 , & London/Birmingham Barfly venues.We received a great review in the hugely popular "unsigned magazine" where one of our most known songs "Ending in Tragedy" was featured on the CD.This year in front of a huge crowd we became “Battle of the Bands winners” 2008, at the Warsop carnival. Our songs lyrics primarily connect with the strains and pressures of life. We've had nothing but positive feedback from listeners so far, and have been compared to an early Green Day.
